This sautéed asparagus recipe is a healthy side dish that's quick to make. Asparagus goes with just about anything and this easy skillet asparagus with ghee and garlic is no exception!
Prepare the asparagus by gently rinsing it and patting it dry. Trim off and discard the bottom 2 inches of the asparagus stalks.
Add the ghee to a large skillet over medium heat.
Cut the trimmed asparagus into 1 inch bite size pieces.
Add the asparagus and salt to the pan, stirring every few minutes to ensure they cook evenly and don't stick to the pan.
While the asparagus is cooking in the pan, mince the garlic.
Sauté the asparagus for 10-15 min, depending on how thick your asparagus is. When the asparagus in fork tender, add in the minced garlic, lower the heat to medium low, and stir. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the garlic is fragrant, and it's ready to serve.
