Instructions
Instant Pot Directions
Insert the trivet into the instant pot.
Carefulley place the eggs onto the trivet, keeping them in a single layer.
Secure the lid and move the steam valve to the "sealing" position.
Press the "pressure cook" or "manual" button and set the time for 6 minutes.
When the timer goes off, carefully realease the steam by turning the steam valve to the "venting" postion.
When the red pin has dropped, it's safe to open the lid.
Place the eggs in an ice bath for at least 5 minutes and then place them into the fridge.
Once the eggs have cooled, use a permanent marker to draw on the ghost face.
Stovetop Directions
Place the eggs into the pot and fill the pot with water to cover the eggs - about 1 or 2 inches above the eggs.
Add in 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda (optional but recommended as it helps the shells come off easier).
Bring the pot of water to a boil.
Once the water is boiling, continue to boil over medium high heat for 7-8 minutes.
Using a slotted spoon, take the eggs out of the pot and place them in an ice bath for at least 5 minutes.
Once the eggs have cooled, use a permanent marker to draw on the ghost face.
Store the eggs in the refridgerator for up to a week.
